It’s Not Always Easy

Riding the Waves of life. Ups and DOWNS. Can I be with that too? Allowing myself to feel the somber feelings. Trying new ways of interacting with this emotion. Painting, hooping, connecting with friends.
And yes, I moved through it. I have felt it dissolve a little bit, an evenness come over me. And/or a more comfortable ability to be with where I’m at right now.

One of the things many people never really discover is that happiness really doesn’t have anything to do with how much money someone else has – and what they do or don’t do with it. Hmmm, is “keeping up with the Jones” really living? The key is being happy with what you have. Interesting how much better you felt, not because you ran to the store and won 60,000 on a lottery ticket to get your nails done all year long, but just connecting with what is important to you – people, the rhythm of life, etc. Finding out what makes you happy, what’s really important to you, doesn’t have a price tag on it. And when you find it you realize no one can really take it away, because it has nothing to do with money. There are many parts to a persons life, where they live, what they do, things that they are passionate about. It is very personal. We all have a different plan we want to live out. Doesn’t mean there aren’t stumbling blocks along the way! ….That’s life.
